The objectives of
the Viking Supporters Co-operative are:
- To create an independent
forum to raise the concerns of Doncaster Rovers supporters.
- To gain more influence
on how the club is run.
- To create dialogue
with all those concerned with the club's future, such as the Chairman,
Directors, club personnel, official Supporters Club, Football in the
Community etc.
- To promote Doncaster
Rovers in the community that it serves.
- To represent a
significant number of Doncaster Rovers supporters, and to publicise
and promote the views of those supporters.
- To seek the views
and opinions of the supporters of Doncaster Rovers
- To acquire shares
and voting rights in Doncaster Rovers Football Club, to enable the views
of supporters to influence the decision making of the directors.
- To enable a democratically
elected director representing the views of the supporters to be appointed
to the board of Doncaster Rovers Football Club
- To raise money,
and donate it to the club, to be spent in such a way to promote the
aims and objectives of the Viking Supporters Co-operative, and to the
benefit of the local community, and the supporters of Doncaster Rovers.
- To seek the views
and opinions of the local community, and promote the support of Doncaster
Rovers
